Hays have partnered with a global re-insurance firm who operate in broking and underwriting, they pride themselves on looking to make the insurance industry a better place and focus on building relationships with their clients. They are seeking an interim junior IBA payables professional to join their finance function. You will be reporting to the Payables team leader.
Your new role

  • Reconciliation of monthly Underwriter (insurer) bordereau's.
  • Reconciliation of monthly third-party ledgers.
  • Creating Settlement Bdx's.
  • Reconcile Claims Payment Bdx.
  • Process and arrange underwriter and third-party payments.
  • Allocation of paid ledger items.
  • Control, monitor, and review outstanding payables with prompt resolution of queries
  • Responsible for resolution and escalation of queries with clients, Processing team, and Underwriters.
  • Any additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Working within an insurance finance function
  • 1+ years experience working in finance
  • Immediately available or 1 week's notice
