Duration: 2 weeks full-time, with potential handover time starting next week

Rate: £320 per day

Job Description:

We are seeking a BPSS cleared Infoblox Support Consultant to join our clients team starting on August 19th, 2024. This role involves providing specialised support for Infoblox tasks, ensuring smooth operations and effective implementation of documented changes. The work is primarily remote, but candidates must be based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Grid Join:
    • Join new Grid Members via CLI.
    • Troubleshoot Grid Join issues.
    • Assist the Firewall Team with required ports.
  • Licensing:
    • Manage Grid/Service Licenses through the Infoblox Support Portal.
    • Upload Grid/Service Licenses via CLI and GUI.
  • DDI Setup:
    • Create DNS Name Server Groups.
    • Establish DHCP Failover Associations.
    • Create Network Views.
    • Set up Extensible Attributes.
    • Import IPAM Networks and Network Containers from CSV files.
  • RBAC (Role-Based Access Control):
    • Configure Admins, Admin Groups, Roles, and Permissions.
    • Restrict access via GUI, API, or CLI.
  • CA Certificates:
    • Generate Infoblox CSR.
    • Upload CA-signed Certificates.
  • Documentation:
    • Update detailed-level design documents.
    • Write handover documentation for the Service Desk.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance required.
  • Location: Must be based in the UK.
  • Skills:
    • Strong experience with Infoblox, including Grid Join, Licensing, DDI Setup, RBAC, and CA Certificates.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and implementing changes within the Infoblox environment.
    • Ability to manage and update detailed documentation.

Additional Information:

  • The consultant will replace an outgoing full-time consultant, with work expected to take approximately two weeks.
  • The role involves significant ongoing tasks, including creating and updating documentation, indicating a more comprehensive project rather than a short-term assignment.
