Installation Engineer
A great opportunity has arisen for a proactive engineer to join a long standing company who specialise in liquid storage for a variety of industries including construction and environmental
Job Description:
- Monitor Health and Safety compliance of our equipment
- Ensure daily loading standards are met, with a focus on safety and security
- Assist the Yard Manager with day to day duties
- Provide inspection sheets for outgoing and incoming tanks to exact detail and to the required standards as set out by the Company
- Carry out modification to equipment to suit customer requirements
- Manage logistics of equipment being dispatched and returned
- Site visits which may require some UK/European travel
- Strict compliance when adhering to Health and Safety
- Accurate completion of relevant paperwork and internal computerised system updates
- Stock control and inventory management
- Some FLT/Loading duties and movement of stock around site
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Mechanical Fitting Knowledge
- FLT License (training provided if required)
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to co-ordinate daily activities and oversee the Yard
- Driving licence
- Previous knowledge of the rental sector would be desirable
- A qualification to Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting would be an advantage
