We’re looking for an Insurance Account Handler to join our highly successful client – a rapidly expanding and growing Insurance business in the heart of Plymouth city centre.

With over 700 clients and counting, they’re in need of someone to help take it to new heights and beyond!

Job details:
  • Salary £22,000 - £25,000 p/a
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday 9:00-17:00- overtime can be discussed.
  • Company Pension
  • Hybrid/Flexible working

As the Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for servicing your own dedicated book of clients/customers which will involve:
  • Managing renewals, chasing invoices, and managing the collection of client payments
  • Producing new quotes
  • Upselling/cross selling additional products
  • Midterm adjustments
  • Generally handling any queries that come through from your dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner ensuring client satisfaction throughout.
The role will also involve general administration for the office.

Qualifications/Experience and Skills needed as the Insurance Account Handler:
  • Previous experience as an account handler or in a similar role within the insurance industry is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and CRM systems.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous.
