My client is looking for a proactive, personable IT Field Technician to become a visible and valued part of IT Services team. Job Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person on-site for all things IT - from fixing devices to setting up AV and supporting classroom tech.

• Perform regular proactive health checks to keep our systems in great shape.

• Collaborate with the central IT team to escalate more complex issues and contribute to process improvement.

• Build relationships with school staff to ensure IT is always a help, never a hindrance.

• Keep meticulous records of IT assets and assist with lifecycle management.

Experience Required

You’re likely already in a 1st Line or on-site support role and are ready for more ownership, mobility, and interaction. You’ll need:

• A driving licence and your own transport - this is a field-based role.

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office 365, and device troubleshooting.

• A friendly, professional manner and the ability to communicate technical info to non-technical users.

• A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a drive to keep improving.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in an educational setting or supporting cloud technologies.

• MCP or ITIL qualifications.
