A fantastic brand that’s a household name and sits within the FMCG sector is looking to bolster its sales team by recruiting a dedicated Junior National Account Manager to support the sales team and, in time, take ownership of several retail accounts.

Suited to a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple tasks all at once, this role calls for someone who has worked within sales previously, either as an Account Manager or Senior Sales Administrator, with a proven track record of pulling data together to inform future plans and enhance sales performance.

National Junior Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support the wider sales team with their accounts by reporting on sales performance, managing e-commerce listings and preparing presentations
  • Track monthly sales forecasts to identify variances and use data and market research to generate monthly forecasts
  • Inform the Sales Account Managers of performance data and competitor activity, then work together to develop effective client strategies and future retail plans
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver marketing trade plans and develop POS
  • Be a point of contact for clients, being on hand to support and using your excellent communication skills to build strong ongoing partnerships

National Junior Account Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Solid sales administration or account management experience with a genuine passion for sales
  • Experience within the FMCG sector is essential, preferably gained within retail or health and beauty industry
  • Commercially-minded with a drive to exceed expectations, and the ability to work to agreed KPIs
  • Ability to identify opportunities and possesses a strong understanding of profitability, targets
  • Thrives in a fast-moving work environment and boasts exceptional interpersonal skills
