SANZA Teaching is delighted to be supporting a leading school in St Johns Wood in their search for a Lead SEND Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant educational community on a one-year contract starting in September. The role is focused on Key Stage 1 students and offers a competitive daily rate of £95-£115.

About the Role

  • Lead and support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for children with SEND
  • Engage children with creative and holistic learning activities
  • Work with small groups or one-on-one to provide tailored support
  • Help create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development and leadership experience

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Leadership experience or potential to lead a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
