Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (Part-time considered)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in the classroom? We are looking for a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our committed team at a welcoming secondary school in Havering.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). You'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, enabling all students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
Provide academic and emotional support to students as needed
Assist teachers in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with secondary-aged students or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
