Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) to Legal Partner
Location: Manchester (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Industry: Insolvency & Legal Services

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a Legal Partner within a leading Insolvency practice based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Legal Partner.

  • Manage complex diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate travel itineraries.

  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports.

  • Act as a first point of contact, dealing professionally with clients, stakeholders, and external contacts.

  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

  • Assist with file management, ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met.

  • Support in the organisation and preparation of client meetings, including document collation and agenda setting.

  • Process expenses, manage billing, and assist with timesheet administration.

  • Maintain an efficient filing system (electronic and paper-based).

Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant within a legal, professional services, or insolvency environment.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team.

  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
