Legal Secretary - Residential Property

Location: Worthing
Salary: £25,000 - £27,500 per annum (DOE) + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a thriving Residential Property / Conveyancing team based in Worthing. This is a chance to become part of a friendly and professional environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.

If you're highly organised, detail-oriented, and have a solid background in Conveyancing Legal Secretarial work, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio dictation and fast, accurate typing
  • File management and general administration
  • Scheduling appointments and managing diaries
  • Submitting property searches and Land Registry applications
  • Drafting sales contracts and managing post-exchange formalities
  • Overseeing day-of-completion and post-completion processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in Residential Property / Conveyancing
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in audio dictation and typing
  • Knowledge of Land Registry procedures
  • A professional, proactive, and approachable manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
