As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified individual from practice or industry (if you have relevant experience in a technology company).

The Management Accountant will play a critical role in their finance team, providing comprehensive support across various financial functions. This position will be incredibly broad, encompassing financial reporting, management accounts, supporting tax work and conducting ad hoc financial analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Management Accounts: Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary to provide insights into business performance.
• Tax Support: Assist with tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, corporation tax, and other relevant filings.
• Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis as required to support various business initiatives and projects.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Newly qualified accountant ACA or ACCA, CIMA with relevant experience in a technology company.
• Skills:
  
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting.
  • Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
