Management Accountant

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to support a successful, well established business based in South Manchester in its search for a Management Accountant.

This exciting opportunity will suit a talented Assistant Management Accountant/Accountant looking to move upwards into a Management Accountant position.

The business will provide full study support, have a demonstrable history of promoting from within and will give you the opportunity to manage a small team.

Salary up to £35,000 and study support

South Manchester/Hybrid working

Key Duties:-

• Assistance in the production of Management Accounts and balance sheet recs

• Finance business partnering with senior stakeholders

• Budgets and Forecasts

• Support the year-end audit process

• Management of a small team

• VAT - review and approve quarterly VAT returns

• Intercompany reconciliations

• Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects

Key skills/Qualifications:-

• Degree or AAT educated (study support given for ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)

• Strong Excel skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Enthusiastic and well organised

• Strong communication skills
