Fast growing e commerce beauty business based in the Manchester area requires an Assistant Accountant for their growing business. This position plays a crucial role within the business and will work towards taking ownership of all daily financial transactional activities and actively participating in all aspects of the finance function to support the Head of Finance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance this is a rewarding role in a business that is rapidly changing and developing.

Duties of the role will include:

• Ownership of Sales, Purchase and General ledgers

• Daily Bank Reconciliations

• Maintain Fixed Asset

• Prepare Management accounts

• Balance Sheet reconciliations

• KPI analysis and presentation

• Budget and cashflow support: Overhead control and forecasting

• Assist with information for year-end audit

• Providing day to day finance support to staff across all functions

The right candidate for this role will have;

• Minimum AAT qualified or studying towards CIMA/ ACCA

• Must be proactive with a flexible approach.

• Must be able to meet tight deadlines with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Positive attitude and desire to grow personally.

• Ability to work individually or as an effective team member to meet the finance teams objectives.

• Advanced Excel Skills
