Management Accountant

My client is an established but growing business within the construction sector. They partner with key organisaitions to deliver large scale construction projects.

As part of their continued development they require an experienced management accountant to join the team and take on a broad, important role within the team. This role will continue develop the right person, they are ideally looking for someone with experience from the construction industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing financial statements including profit and loss accounts, monthly management accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries, together with balance sheet analysis.
• Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Inter-company balances, accounts, accruals & prepayments.
• Assisting with statutory accounts, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Debtor management. Purchase ledger and nominal management.
• VAT Returns.
• CIS deductions, and submission returns.
• Supervising 2 accountancy staff.

The role requires an experienced accountant who can independently execute this role, knowledge of Sage and CIS submissions is highly advantageous.
