A permanent contract for a Management Accountant for a high profile business in Blackburn.

Client Details

A leading business with a household brand, based in Blackburn, following some exciting changes, have a Management Accountant role available for a dynamic part qualified Management Accountant.

Description

This role will report directly into the divisional Finance Manager but will also work closely with other site directors, and will cover the following areas:

  • Producing monthly management packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasting
  • Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
  • Stock valuation and usage calculations
  • Control of the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Cost and cash control
  • Cash flow management and reporting
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • VAT returns

Profile

This is a great opportunity for a candidate that prefers a hands on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:

  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • IT literate with strong systems knowledge, ERP preferred such as Oracle, SAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Methodical and high attention to detail

Job Offer
