We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Wellingborough. This permanent role commences in September and offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate students through the fascinating world of Mathematics.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver compelling Maths lessons to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, ensuring high levels of engagement and effective learning.
  • Develop lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, addressing a spectrum of learning needs.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create interdisciplinary initiatives that enhance the educational experience.
  • Engage with parents and guardians during meetings to discuss student progress and collaborative support strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level.
  • Deep understanding of Mathematics and its application.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive and differentiated instruction to cater to all students’ learning needs.
