I am currently working with a client who are one of the fastest growing gardening companies in the UK. They are seeking a midweight graphic designer to join team.

This role will be supporting their internal design studio with the delivery of digital and print design assets. From social media and email to magazine ads and lookbooks you will have the chance to work on a variety of brand projects as well as the day-to-day tasks within a design studio.

Salary: £30,000

Location: Marlborough, Wiltshire

Monday- Friday, full time with hybrid working. Mondays and Fridays from home!

The role:

  • Present and offer creative solutions to the Digital Graphic Designer and Creative & Content Manager
  • Recognize and respond to current design trends for brand initiatives
  • Self-manage multiple projects of varying sizes, ensuring deadlines and are maintained
  • Strong attention to detail in file preparation and final production, and good understanding on both print & digital formats and exports
  • Retouch photography images, when required including photo editing and creating cut outs
  • Designing a range of prints, including flyers, lookbooks, magazine adverts

  • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of design, typography, layout, colour theory
  • A keen eye for the latest trends and knowing where to find daily inspiration
  • Good collaboration skills for working alongside our other departments
  • Great communicator


Your skills

  • 3+ years of experience
  • A strong interest in and knowledge of the design and marketing of retail brands, particularly sector-related, and an awareness of graphic design trends
  • Good knowledge of digital and print design
  • Proven experience of designing for the web, emails and social media
  • Some design experience of designing and production of print assets such as flyers, booklets, wraps etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of basic motion & animation would be an advantage
  • Comprehensive understanding of Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Experience of using Styla or website CMS tools is an advantage
  • Brilliant organisational and communication skills plus excellent attention to detail
  • Able to meet strict deadlines
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong creativity, originality and an ability to successfully interpret briefs
  • Having an interest and passion for gardening/ nature would be an advantage, but not essential
