Motor Trade Account Handler

Are you an Account Handler and experience with good product knowledge and a particular specialism in Motor Trade?

If so, NJR Recruitment are delighted to present this great new opportunity for an Account Handler to join a highly successful North West insurance brokerage to be part of their team in the Stockport area.

As Account Handler, you will operate within the commercial insurance team dealing with a variety of commercial products, with a particular specialism and focus on Motor Trade clients. You will therefore be able to utilise your Motor Trade knowledge and experience whilst also getting involved with other products.

Duties will include preparing new business and renewal quotations, building relationships with both Clients and Insurers, adhering to company and legal guidelines and exceeding client service standards whilst working to personal and team targets.

In return, a salary of £35,000-£40,000 will be offered to the successful candidate along with a range of different benefits.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Background and experience working within the commercial insurance broking industry is essential, with good knowledge across different commercial classes of business with strong Motor Trade knowledge.
• An excellent communicator with the ability to develop sound working relationships with a range of different stakeholders.
• Being well organised and able to manage your time effectively.
• Have good negotiation skills, to ensure clients receive the requisite cover for their needs at the best possible price.
• Knowledge of Acturis would be great along with any insurance qualifications.
