Are you an experienced insolvency professional with a keen interest in Members' Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insolvency Associate to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing MVLs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of MVL cases from inception to closure, ensuring all statutory obligations are met.
  • Conduct initial meetings with clients to gather information and assess their needs.
  • Prepare and review necessary documentation, including statutory reports, accounts, and declarations of solvency.
  • Liaise with directors, shareholders, creditors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into company affairs and prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and efficient administration of MVLs.
  • Keep up to date with changes in insolvency law and regulations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice and support to clients throughout the MVL process, maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional qualification in insolvency (e.g., CPI, JIEB) or working towards such qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in insolvency practice, with a significant focus on MVLs.
  • Strong understanding of UK insolvency laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in using insolvency software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
