We are seeking a National Sales Manager for our Life Science division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of respiratory or prescriptions.

Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Meet with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Analyse and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.

Profile

A successful National Sales Manager should have:

  • 10 years of experience in in a senior sales or marketing position in pharmaceutical products or medical devices
  • Including physician detailing and hospital and / or key account pharmacy promotion on a National basis with a proven sales track record of experience managing a direct sales team.
  • Sales experience with a respiratory portfolio of products is an asset
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including strong business writing skills
  • Clinical and/or respiratory therapy experience is an asset
  • Experience building strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, e.g. physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapist, key opinion leaders, key accounts, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of the NHS structure, dynamics and key relations and links within the main institutions. Good understanding of the different contractual forms that are linking all the stakeholders and the flow of funds and outcomes between them.
  • Solid understanding of marketing communications and industry trade practices

Job Offer

  • An attractive salary package ranging from £80,000 to £90.000 per annum.
