Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Didcot

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Network Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Join a dynamic team at a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Didcot, specializing in data center operations. This is an exciting role where you will work on cutting-edge projects and have the opportunity to make a significant impact within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network solutions within data centers.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to support and maintain network infrastructure.
  • Ensure security and integrity of network systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Maintain and update documentation of network configurations and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with data center environments and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
  • Understanding of network security principles.
