Network Manager

Various locations available - London Outside the M25 , Birmingham, Kent and Somerset

£40,000 - £60,000 Plus Pension, 28 days holiday, a generous fuel allowance + full training + ongoing career support + 37.5 hour week

Hybrid role within various sites local to your area 3-4 days a week, home based 1-2 days a week.

A leading managed IT service provider requires Network Managers to support IT with their partners in London, the South, and the Midlands.

You will be running the day-to-day helpdesk onsite and providing first—and second-line support while working with the customer, so hands-on experience is also required.

Your responsibilities will include,

  • Running the service desk and resolving 1st-2nd line support calls and ensuring all calls are followed through by your team members
  • Supporting and maintaining the infrastructure within the school/college to ensure maximum uptime
  • troubleshooting within a predominantly Microsoft environment
  • Ensuring that you keep the Senior Engineers and Helpdesk team aware of any issues that need to be raised and escalated
  • Support and manage key infrastructure projects in partnership
  • interface between the client and us -
  • You will manage the day-to-day workload of your team, ensuring you get the best out of their talents.

Our Requirements

  • Experience in supporting IT in a controlled environment
  • Microsoft Server Skills
  • Management experience desirable
  • AD
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • Group Policies
  • Education experience is preferred but not essential.
