Family Legal Secretary, Caerphilly

TSR Legal are working with a reputable law firm who are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Legal Secretary to join their Family/Private Client Department.

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct support to the fee earners within the Family/Private Client Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting fee earners in the progression of client matters
  • Audio typing
  • Handling client interactions both in person and over the telephone
  • Opening new client and matter files
  • Maintaining up-to-date files
  • Liaising with third parties, including Courts, Experts, and Barristers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Essential: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and strong typing skills
  • Organized, efficient, and versatile

Other Relevant Requirements:

  • Understanding and compliance with the firm’s Equality & Diversity Policy in handling clients, staff, and external service providers.
