Our client, a supplier of FMCG products to a global customer base now has an excellent opportunity for a Product Administrator to join their friendly NPD team in Bury.
Job Specification:
- Setting up new items on SAP and making necessary updates to product information during the NPD process
- Setting up spec sheets and PA forms
- Managing red / green and gold seal samples, ensuring samples are organised and tidy.
- Overseeing green and gold seal approvals. Coordinating with the wider teams to ensure checks are complete on time, liaising with suppliers to solve sampling or production related queries
- Assisting Product Developers in ad hoc tasks such as requesting component cutters, creating red seal approval forms, market research, PA updates.
- Supporting in conducting comp shops and store visits / benchmark purchasing
- Completing detailed artwork checks prior to final NPD sign off.
- Working with the operations department to ensure project sign offs align with shipment dates, making necessary updates to the critical path.
- Managing sales sample requests; pulling or requesting additional NPD samples to support sales meetings.
- Supporting packing stock and props for events and exhibitions.
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator - ideally with experience of working in a NPD or Buying environment, candidates with experience in Health & Beauty or similar will be of particular interest!
Skills Required:
- Possesses an understanding and passion for the beauty industry.
- Highly organised
- Confident to liaise with wider departments daily (marketing, technical, design, sales)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once working to tight deadlines, strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Independent and proactive.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organiser and great project management skills
- Positive, friendly and ideally creative
- Strong written & verbal communication and networking skills
