Our client, a bilingual renowned Montessori nursery with several locations across London is looking for a French speaking Nursery Assistant to work in one of their awarded nurseries. Our client will consider non-qualified candidates, but you will be required to study for an early year’s qualification recognised by OFSTED to learn the EYFS.

ROLE of Nursery Assistant:

  • Assisting with all daily routines, supervising the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and preparing activities and materials.
  • Assisting with settling new children following the Settling in Policy.
  • Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
  • Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.
  • Communicating with parents and management

PROFILE:

  • Fluent French and English
  • One of the following qualification: CAP Petites Enfance - Diplôme d'Etat d'Auxiliaire de Puériculture - Diplôme d'Etat d'Educateur de Jeunes Enfant - BAFA - an Ofsted-recognised qualification, Level 3 or above - An Ofsted-recognised Montessori qualification
  • And at least one year experience in a nursery setting.
  • Ability to communicate with and understand children.
  • Great people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with parents
  • Competent IT skills (Word, email)
  • Great listening skills
  • Problem-solving & a positive can-do attitude
  • Able to take constructive criticism
  • Able to be self-reflective to improve constantly

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • £25,985pa - 38 hours per week
