My client are a Chartered Financial Planning firm renowned for its commitment to excellence. Winning the City Wealth Magic Circle award for Financial Advisory Firm of the Year consecutively for two years, they pride themselves on being an industry leader. Their growth has created an exciting opportunity within the Operations team at their London office. The firm provides financial planning, wealth structuring and investment advice to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals.They have offices in London and France and serves clients internationally.

Working in the heart of Soho is a feast for the eyes, with a vast variety of shops, cafes, bars and eateries to explore along the busy side streets, with lots of interesting people. They are based just a moment’s walk away from the bustling stores on Oxford Street and Regent Street, with Chinatown and Theatreland nearby. A variety of public transport and travel links are widely available. They hold regular in-house and external events which all of the team are encouraged to attend. THey also provide quarterly team events, with an annual away-day each summer with the team taking part in ad hoc sporting and charity events. Due to the nature of the responsibilities, this role is office based.


Role Summary:


Seeking a detail-oriented team player to collaborate across departments and ensure the smooth running of this award-winning financial planning firm. This Office Administrator position offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and become an essential part of the team.


Key Responsibilities:


Finance:
  • Reconciling money in and out
  • Monitoring company aged debt
  • Collating staff expenses
  • Raising invoices
  • Processing company payroll
  • Responsible for company credit card
General office:
  • Greeting external visitors to the office
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Answering the main office line
Personal Assistant:
  • Diary assistance to the CEO and occasionally the other company directors
IT:
  • Working with external IT company to assist with companywide IT issues
  • Maintaining IT equipment log
Compliance:
  • Assisting external compliance consultant with relevant matters
Recruitment:
  • Onboarding new starters
Personnel:
  • Planning company days out
  • Managing company benefits
  • Maintaining staff office rota
  • Arranging necessary Health and Safety site visits


Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience working as an office administrator
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and work independently and proactively
  • Excellent attention to detail
