  • Note: this role is responsible for providing occasional cover in the Bristol and Oxford offices and as such the successful candidate will be required to travel to these offices on an adhoc basis

A reputable Cheltenham employer is looking for an Office Host to deliver a premium experience within their office environment. This role is pivotal in providing support to colleagues and offering exceptional hospitality to guests. As an Office Host, you will embody their culture and standards, creating a positive, supportive, and respectful environment for everyone.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Serve as an ambassador, warmly welcoming all guests, offering refreshments, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Maintain a tidy working environment, adhering to a clear desk policy.
  • Manage stock levels of consumables and stationery by coordinating with the central procurement team.
  • Assist with the setup and smooth running of events and lunches.
  • Prepare meeting rooms with refreshments and maintain their readiness.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and parcels efficiently.
  • Orientate new joiners, introducing them to colleagues and the office facilities.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to ensure printers and other equipment are fully stocked.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the office.
  • Liaise with the central Office Services team to support operational issues.
  • Act as the primary operational support within the office for a variety of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Office Services Projects Manager on office seating plans.
  • Host local events and present food and beverages.
  • Report maintenance needs and oversee contractors.
  • Represent all other Business Services teams locally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Presentable and personable with strict adherence to the dress code.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to accommodate early starts or later finishes for events.
  • IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
