Paralegal
We are currently recruiting for a new paralegal vacancy, working in the London office of one of the world’s leading law firms.
The position will be offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract basis and will be to work within the busy and highly regarded Financial Services Regulatory team.
The successful applicant will enjoy great exposure and be an active member of the group with access to meetings, training, and a wide range of resources, closely supporting the partners and associates, in order to ensure development.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project management tasks (for advisory and transactional matters).
- Liaising with local counsel, clients and internal teams on a regular basis.
- Performing research tasks.
- Preparing training materials.
- Preparing first drafts and coordinating the collection of regulatory filing materials.
- Reporting on Financial Services Regulatory developments.
- Assisting the Knowhow Partners with the development and maintenance of knowhow materials for the group.
- Assisting the wider team with materials for BD, marketing and pitching use.
- Attending practice group meetings.
- Taking ownership of matters when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and proactive individual to join a busy and high performing team at a leading US law firm. Suitable applicants will have a strong academic background and ideally have passed the LPC/SQE. We are also keen to hear from those with experience gained in a similar role at a City law firm or indeed Future Trainees looking to build upon their experience before commencing their training contract.
A highly competitive salary is on offer, plus overtime and hybrid working arrangements are in place.
