The opportunity

We are seeking professionals with a passion for data to join our established and growing Operations team as a Performance Analysis Lead.

This role will partner with the Operations leadership team (OLT) to enable the delivery of key performance reporting and analysis, in support of their strategic goals.

You will work in seamless collaboration with the broader Operations Performance Improvement Team and lead the analysis into the qualitative and quantitative performance of Operations through relevant insights, and stakeholder feedback whilst challenging current performance and develop essential plans to drive continuous improvement.

Your new role

  • Proactively engage with various stakeholders to define and standardise the relevant Performance metrics by collecting their requirements and managing the demand priorities.

  • Manage end to end senior stakeholder relationships and become a trusted partner of the OLT advising on best practise for measuring and improving their operations.

  • Implement and lead Operations Performance monthly reviews.

  • Collaborate with OLT to identify and advise on improvements based on data insights - improvements to systems, processes or people.

  • A trusted partner of the OLT providing performance measurement and supporting with continuous improvement of their operations.

  • Support the oversight of QBE’s offshore shared service centre.

  • Actively undertake personal and team development to ensure up to date knowledge and skills, develop own knowledge of standard procedures and processes.

  • Identify and surface common themes around performance insights, that may need a more coordinated approach across Operations to improve.

About you

  • Highly analytical and able to translate information from large amounts of data into high-level insights for senior leaders.

  • Demonstrable leadership skills across multiple locations.

  • Demonstrate experience within operational performance evaluation and embedding improvements of processes.

  • Proven experience of measuring and reporting on the performance of service against agreed KPI’s.

  • Deep understanding of the insurance industry and its operational processes.
