NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a Chartered Insurance Brokers based in Manchester in their recruitment of a Personal Lines Account Handler.

You will join a team of highly experienced, dedicated professionals who take pride in providing an excellent level of service to all of their clients.

Working as Personal Lines Account Handler, you will be dealing with Private Client policies, particularly Home and Motor, and will deliver a fantastic service to your clients. You will be expected to service your clients through renewing their policies and answering any enquires that they may have.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and service an existing book of Private Clients.
  • You will also negotiate and agree terms and cover.
  • Taking instructions from new clients, ensuring cover commences at the correct time, all relevant paperwork is completed, premium is collected, and relevant records and diary entries are created.
  • Taking instructions from existing customers in respect of alterations to existing policies, ensuring insurers are notified and records updated.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of working within an insurance environment, with good knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance dealing with Home and/or Motor.
  • Strong client management relationship skills.
  • Solid communication and articulation skills.
  • Be extremely organised and have excellent attention to detail.
