Procurement Analyst, Shipping

We are partnering with a Shipping Line seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their team in London on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities;

• Maintain, update, and enhance reporting and KPI tools in alignment with business targets and governance principles.
• Develop new reporting and operational tools using Tableau and Looker, based on company needs
• Assist in educating new users on existing BI tools and facilitate effective rollout sessions for new tools.
• Promote and disseminate data from Business Intelligence in GHQ to Europe Trade, Sales, and Customer Service teams
• Advocate for increasing data literacy
• Perform data analysis
• Collaborate with the Trade and Sales teams to identify and improve yield through round voyage cargo movement
• Analyze cargo portfolio strategy with Marketing and Trade Teams to maximize yield return using data and BI tools.
• Coordinate regional target setting from global/trade targets, ensuring performance measurement using KPIs.
• Manage surcharges and Detention/Demurrage tariffs
• Implement multi-Trade commercial policies

Skills Required;

• Strong understanding of the Shipping industry
• Experience within pricing, trade and yield management
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Solid understanding of business intelligence
