Quality Auditor

Natures Way Foods is a leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and “food-to-go” for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe. But there’s lots more to us than the products we make.

We are currently looking for a talented Quality Auditor to join our fast-paced compliance & technical team in Chichester, West Sussex. Reporting into our QA Manager, you will join a team of fantastic colleagues that are responsible for Product Food Safety and Quality, systems, processes, procedures & GMP. You will ensure that we comply with internal and external customer requirements and specification, including auditing and closure of non-conformances. Responsibilities

You will already have experience in:

  • Ensuring product quality & safety standards are maintained at all times and that the product that is manufactured meets the customer’s specification and is legally compliant in all aspects.
  • Ensuring our factories are audit ready at all times and the strict GMP standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing site.
  • Auditing of safety, legality and GMP standards of the site
  • Regular documented checks on all areas and lines of manufacture and packing, including paperwork checks to ensure correct completion.
  • Validation and verification of processes according to schedule
  • Monitoring lines during production and report any issues in relation to quality or product safety
  • Sampling, checks, tests, swabbing and other conformance requirements according to required schedules, including logging of samples into laboratory system
  • Conducting documented investigations and close out non-conformances, using Root Cause Analysis
  • Completing records and logs for all activities according to procedure
  • Set up and conduct daily quality assessments, including feedback and trending for operational teams
  • Control & documentation of On Hold and other non-conforming products
  • Pest control checks where required
  • Carry out specified projects
