Quantity Surveyor - ANY Construction

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Greenwich, London, SE28 8BF

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Repairs and Investment Section is seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in strategic asset management and stock condition surveys. In this exciting new role, you will:

1. Financial Management:

   • Lead the preparation of financial statements related to all aspects of the work.
   • Scrutinize final accounts and analyze expenditure patterns.
   • Make recommendations to improve value for money.

2. Partnerships and Procurement:

   • Build relationships and collaborate internally and externally for strategic asset management services.
   • Lead procurement efforts for planned and capital programs, including public sector works and professional services contracts.

3. Cost Estimation:

   • Develop and maintain an in-house cost information database for accurate budget estimates and cost advice.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional qualification (RICS or CIOB) desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Active team member.
