Quantity Surveyor - Plumbing Services

Our client, a family run Plumbing Group, specialising in delivering heating and renewale services to a range of clients in heating, heating maintenance, renewables, plumbing, and M&E. Due to growth of the business, they are looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and estimating New build and Refurbishment project costs from conception to completion.

Quantity Surveyor - Plumbing Services

Responsibilities:

• Conducting weekly site measurements and liaising for event records
• Costing and submitting variations
• Managing subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
• Updating all commercial registers regularly
• Performing value management and cost control
• Arranging payments and valuing completed work
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor payments
• Overseeing projects through to successful completion, ensuring their delivery
• Submitting Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and preparing all financial reports, including cost-to-complete estimates
• Forecasting cash flow and turnover

Quantity Surveyor - Plumbing Services

Requirements:

• Preferably possess prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Mechanical & Electrical and Construction projects
• Demonstrate strong numeracy, financial management, and IT skills
• Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities
• Have knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• A full driver's license is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Eque 2
