We are seeking an ambitious, strategic and skilled Registered Manager to develop and lead our 16-18 supported accommodation service. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager with at least 2 years' experience in a residential children's setting to help shape a brand-new service and be pivotal in its success.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the supported accommodation service, ensuring full compliance with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding requirements.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Nurture strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the growth of the organisation by developing and overseeing new services and sites.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of your team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to continually evolve and improve our services, policies and procedures.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within children’s care and/or relevant supported accommodation services.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices including a thorough understanding of OFSTED regulations
  • An established network of local authority contacts including relevant commissioners.
  • A strategic mindset to effectively lead multi-site services.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • The ability to manage budgets and ensure financial performance.
  • The vision, drive, and commitment to ensure that young people receive the highest quality of care and support.

Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
