Facilities Manager Required For Secondary School In Redbridge
Location: Redbridge, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Normal Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (may vary)
A vibrant secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, creating a safe and conducive environment for our students and staff to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance and security of the school premises and grounds.
- Conducting regular health and safety checks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Managing a team of 3 Caretakers, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Coordinating maintenance and repair works, liaising with external contractors as necessary.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal facility management.
- Handling administrative tasks including paperwork and record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- IT literacy, with proficiency in administrative tasks and health and safety checks.
- Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
