Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Southampton, UK

Start Date: ASAP or September 2024

Salary: £130-£200 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, temporary, temp-perm, long term supply

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic school in Southampton. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for science and promoting high standards of achievement. This role offers the opportunity to start immediately or from September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A degree in a relevant science discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £100.00-£190.00 per day
