Senior DevOps Engineer - SC Cleared - £730 per day

Rate: Up to £730 per day

Location: Remote (monthly visit to either Croydon or Sheffield)

Duration: 12 months

IR35: Inside

The role:

A leading Central Government Institution are seeking an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to develop and support the client's application, around their deployments and infrastructure needs, working closely with the development and product teams.

12 Month initial contract, SC Clearance required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • In development of code or scripts to provide automation and consistent deployment patterns in at least one major programming/scripting language
  • With AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Concourse/Jenkins, Vault and modern monitoring tooling systems
  • Engineering and maintaining DevOps toolchains to support secure and highly resilient services
  • Developing designs, code and testing of infrastructure as code and continuous improvement pipelines
  • Building and installing of new platform tooling solutions such as monitoring, secret management and service discovery solutions to industry best practices
  • Working in an agile software development environment, including iterative design, planning and improvement

Beneficial:

  • Experience of the Azure platform
