Are you a degree qualified Senior Process Engineer who is capable of managing multiple projects who has a knowledge of lean improvement tools? Our client, a world leading aerospace and power generation manufacturer who would be very interested in your background!

In this role you will be involved in both reactive problem-solving and long-term strategic project work. You will be part of a team that have ownership of a production process, detecting trends or non-conformity, investigating root cause and implementing corrective actions.

Hours - 8am - 4.15pm

Key Responsibilities - Senior Process Engineer
  • Able to take a lead engineering role within a specific process team.
  • Able to carry out multi-function/department improvement projects.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement to benefit capability, cost and reduce environmental impact.
  • Develop, implement, validate, maintain and control Methods of Manufacture to ensure customer work packages are realized for coatings.
  • Control and reduce costs to drive profitability in the factory by continuously challenging the methods of manufacture and the designs.

Key Skills - Senior Process Engineer
  • Hold a relevant degree
  • The ability to present technical findings through producing high quality technical reports and delivering professional presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and solve complex problems.
  • Capable to work on multiple projects, managing project plans & time scales to ensure delivery.
  • Knowledge of engineering problem solving tools (Lean, Six Sigma).
