Senior proportional treaty technician

We have a unique opportunity to join an established global broker within a small, skilled team.

Responsibilities

Technical, you will have your own technical case load.

Works independently to handle all aspects of proportional accounting, including create, calculate and process portfolio and profit commissions on behalf of client when required

Works with team to manage wider team case load as required, especially during busy periods

Takes lead for their own accounts, responding to queries and liaising across business departments to actively resolve accounts in a timely manner.

Projects & Change Management

Contributes as a source of strong technical knowledge on ad hoc and continuous improvement projects

Assists with IT platform upgrade activities on behalf of Operations team as required

Assists and informs implementation work on process improvement initiatives

Managing Information

You will be happy to

Coach and develop the technical skills of team members

Deliver learning events as and when required on area of specialist knowledge

Quality Assurance

You will need

An in-depth knowledge of Treaty contracts and in particular

Strong understanding of Proportional Treaty insurance and methods of accounting used in this area

Ability to identify, analyse and act upon key information

Expert knowledge of relevant Computer systems

Deep understanding of the link between own role and IBA

Strong knowledge of IBA Client, Underwriter and Bureau functions and processes
