Senior Traffic Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team based in our London office.

Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. This is a full-time permanent role, hybrid working with 2 - 3 days in the office.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

* To support senior staff, providing technical support for a wide range of project types and consultancy commissions.
* Provide weekly monitoring information against key indicators.
* Ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QA system
* Liaise with other Project Centre disciplines and staff.
* Check output produced by more junior staff in terms of reports/drawings etc.
* Assist in developing Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the service area.
* Respond to client and customer enquiries taking messages, when necessary and ensuring that their needs are met.

Person Specification

* Relevant Degree or HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent qualifications.

* Membership of a professional institution e.g., MIHE, MICE or MCIHT or aiming towards.

* Good understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles.

* Experience in traffic / highway design and/or delivery.

* Expertise in AutoCAD relating to traffic and highways design (for example traffic sign and lining design)

* Familiarity with TMA 2004 and other relevant legislation and design standards

* Understanding of CDM and Health and Safety.
