Seven Resourcing are looking for a Service Administrator to work at Hammersmith & Fulham Council within the children's social services team. This is a full-time position, and we are paying £20.02 (Paye) per hour for this role.

The role:

To work under the direction of the Lifelong Link Project Lead and Family Group Conference Manager to:

Provide essential organisational and administrative support to the FGC Service and Lifelong Links Project and the FGC Manager , ensuring the effective coordination, organization and accurate recording of meetings, timely and confidential distribution of documents and minutes, maintaining the service the database, invoicing, booking venues and interpreters.

Support the effective and timely organisation of FGC's and other relevant meetings for the FGC and Lifelong Links services and provide administration support to complex meetings, including taking minutes as required, collating, and uploading documents onto the database, booking venues and interpreters, and distributing minutes and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

To be proactive as the first line of contact for resolving queries in relation to the work of the Service.

To accurately type correspondence, confidential documents and reports using a range of Microsoft Office. Typing speed of 50wpm.

To deal with written and telephone enquiries from professionals and other agencies, including message taking on behalf of Links Project Lead and FGC manager and coordinators.

Undertake the completion of finance transactions, including the creation of requisitions, invoices, purchase orders, including supplier set-up and queries for the department.

Update the finance models and information for services across the department to support the H&F RFE principles.

To maintain and ensure the department's service users records are updated and accurate.

To assist with the maintenance and development of efficient and effective business support systems including management information systems, filing systems, accurate and timely data returns, and implementation of improvements and additions required in accordance with Council policies and procedures.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: 

      GCSEs A-C or equivalent including at least English and Maths.

Educated to A Level standard or equivalent experience.

Experience:  2+ years working within a similar role. 

Compliance:  Current Standard DBS check. 

Travel:  Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours:  37 hours p/w.
