Are you looking for a role in Higher Education? Are you skilled at project management with exceptional communication and IT skills? If so, Signature Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, at a prestigious London university, as a SharePoint Administrator. This is a full-time position offered on a temporary, one month contract. It has a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days on campus and 2 days from home.

As a SharePoint Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the further development of SharePoint, an online resource for student and academics within the University. You will use your experience in administrative higher education settings to confidently communicate with all stakeholders, collating and coordinating information for the SharePoint system. In addition, you will use project management and organisational skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the assignment.

SharePoint Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of the capture, review and development of Academic and Student Support processes for the SharePoint system
  • Collaborating with all stakeholders, both internal and external. Coordinating information gathering with an ability to grasp, summarise and explain complex data to a wider audience
  • Ensuring project delivery is in line with the appropriate regulations, policies and procedures
  • Developing and delivering the project within planned and agreed timeframes
  • Thorough understanding of current issues in Higher Education, including statutory, regulatory and quality assurance frameworks
  • Providing other ad hoc administrative assistance in order to support the Team and wider university

SharePoint Administrator Key Skills:

  • Educated to degree level. Or with experience of delivery of full lifecycle projects and process review within large organisations, ideally higher education settings
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service and an ability to communicate well with different stakeholders
  • A problem solver showing logical and analytical skills with excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in IT systems including up-to-date knowledge of the use of IT in HE administration including student records
