We are recruiting for a Stock & Materials Operative to join our client based in Southend on Sea. This is a great opportunity to join a great team in a well-established and niche local company. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn a traditional trade in a modern environment as part of a busy team.

You will be required to perform a wide range of warehouse and stock duties which will be include the following:

Job Duties:

• To always maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and workstation

• Picking orders and putting items away with good care and attention

• Completing orders with accuracy

• Checking stock

• Using a in house CRM system to ship products (Training will be provided)

• Cutting of materials

• Packing deliveries with care

• Some heavy lifting will be involved

Candidate Requirements:

• To be PC literate

• Solid Warehouse Experience

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail as dealing with high value products

Job Type:     Full Time, Permanent

Area:            Southend on Sea, Essex

Hours:          09:00 to 17:00 (37.5 Hours a Week)

Salary:         £23,000 to £25,000 PA
