Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective History lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire a love for history and enhance student learning.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience teaching History at the secondary school level.
  • A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
