Teaching Assistant

Our client school are seeking a dedicated full-time General Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant secondary school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a difference in students' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources, ensuring all students have the tools they need to succeed.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, tailoring assistance to individual learning needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as recess and lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special needs.
• Assist in the assessment and recording of students' progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.

Must have a DBS or be willing to apply for one.
