Are you an experienced professional with a background in commodity trading? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trade Support Officer to join our dynamic team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the vibrant commodities market, ensuring the smooth and efficient support of our trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the trading team, including trade capture, confirmation, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely entry of trades into the trading system.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as settlements, risk management, and finance to resolve any trade-related issues.
  • Monitor and manage trade lifecycle events, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of trading reports and analytical tools.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a trade support role within a commodity trading company.
  • Strong understanding of commodity trading operations and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in trading systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferr
