  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday
  • Salary guide: £23,000 - £25,000 with salary expectations of £40,000 after 5 years

Based in a bright and modern office space, this print company is a trusted name within the industry and has built a friendly and welcoming team that are experts in all things print! Starting the year positively, they are now in a position where they need to expand their team and are looking to hire an enthusiastic individual who wants to become a Programmer and has a keen interest in learning and joining a company for the long term.

Offering a full training programme and plenty of career development opportunities, our client is open to the level of experience you have gained to date, although you must have a fundamental knowledge of programming, whether gained during university or within a programming role.

The role will be multi-faceted and will involve:

  • Working in close collaboration with the Programmer and learning all aspects of the 'Quadient’ programming language
  • Supporting the account management team with the successful delivery of client projects
  • Creating and maintaining workflows for output and, in time, making recommendations for improvements
  • Undertaking training in other systems and software as necessary

Although this is a trainee role, the successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in Computing, Computer Science, or Programming, or has gained experience in a programming role
  • Have a keen eye for detail and can apply a high level of accuracy to all work
  • Take a logical approach to work and isn’t afraid to be hands-on
  • Be eager to learn and is willing to undergo training
