Elevation IT are looking to recruit a User Acceptance Tester to join our clients Web team over in Goole with an immediate start.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract offering hybrid working – 2 home, 3 in – excellent salary & benefits

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in web development projects….a skilled User Acceptance Tester who can bridge the gap between our clients website development and business teams, ensuring web solutions meet the highest standards of functionality and user satisfaction!

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Convert requirements from the Product Owner into detailed user stories, defining clear user acceptance criteria
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-release testing to ensure all features and functionalities meet the specified criteria
  • Gain approval from business owners and our Sitecore Product Owner for all submitted work, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Create and present training materials and live demos of new or updated functionalities to an internal audience, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of the solutions.

We are keen to speak with Testing professionals with the following skills & experience:

  • Proven experience in user acceptance testing, preferably within web development projects
  • Strong understanding of agile principles/methodology
  • Familiarity with Sitecore and other relevant web development tools and technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and document issues accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
