Freelance Web Data Analyst - 2-Month Contract

We're working with a fast-paced, creatively driven marketing agency in London on the hunt for a Web Data Analyst to join them on a 2-month freelance contract, kicking off in May. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes web data and thrives in a hybrid environment (3 days/week in their London office).
?? What You'll Do:Dive into GA4 to uncover user behaviour and web performance trends
Use Python (including for A/B testing) to manipulate and analyse large data sets
Evaluate channel performance across paid, organic, and offline marketing efforts
Combine online and offline analytics to deliver clear, actionable insights
Inspect and interpret website code to understand data layers and tracking
Work closely with marketers and developers to improve tracking accuracy and campaign ROI
Proven experience with GA4 in a commercial/agency setting
Strong Python skills (incl. stats libraries and A/B testing frameworks)
Confidence reviewing and advising on website tagging and tracking
Understanding of marketing funnels, channel attribution, and customer journeys
Great market knowledge and commercial awareness across digital channels
Ability to turn complex data into easy-to-understand stories and recommendations
